Parent & Family Coaching: Regaining Trust

Coaching can help manage and resolve behavior issues and help rediscover healthy dynamics within the family.

As a parent, situations arise that may lend themselves to exploring outside resources to help answer questions like: Is my child's behavior developmentally appropriate? What do I do if they are struggling socially? Do we need support to process a significant family transition or trauma?

While we often think that children's negative behaviors are the root cause of family chaos, a fundamental shift can only occur when parents can adjust their interactive behaviors and focus on understanding the child's underlying needs. Parent and family coaching can help uncover and identify those needs enabling a path to recovery for everyone.

Within a safe environment, we will explore, learn, and process how a child's body and brain develop and deconstruct what is working and what may require a shift within your parenting approach. We will work to re-align your compassion for your child to find delight and trust within the family system and provide developmentally appropriate ways to express, process, and make sense of difficult experiences.

What to Expect

Finding extra time in family schedules can be challenging; therefore, coaching sessions can be a more fluid experience than a traditional therapy structure. Coaching sessions can be either 30 or 55 minutes, resolving immediate issues in one or two sessions or deciding on a strategy to tackle long-term family adjustments with continued support. We will work together to develop a coaching structure in a format that works best for you and your family.
